The Luangwa Valley has long been regarded as one of Africa's finest wildlife reserves. Its unspoilt natural beauty and abundant game make it an ideal destination for an African safari holiday.  The late Norman Carr started the first safari company here in 1950 and more than 50 years on, we're still leading the way in Zambian wildlife safaris.

Our history and experience combine to make us the specialists in safari holidays in Zambia.  With Kapani Lodge and four individually designed bush camps, we pride ourselves on offering a varied range of luxury safaris. Game drives and walks are available from all of our camps whilst night drives take place in the first hours of darkness, the best time to find the predators in action.

Enjoy a walking safari between any of our remote bush camps or relax in the luxury and style of our main Lodge, Kapani. However you choose to enjoy your African safari holiday, you will be escorted throughout by a team of Zambia's best safari guides.

The guiding team at Norman Carr Safaris is widely regarded to be the most experienced and knowledgeable in Zambia - many of us were trained by Norman Carr himself.
