Let us help you to plan and create a Zambian safari package

At Norman Carr Safaris we can help you plan and create a safari tour through Zambia that will be tailored to your specific requirements.

Although our camps are in the South Luangwa National Park we are able to organize a safari trip throughout Zambia taking care of you from your arrival in the country until your departure back home.

We work very closely with the top Zambian safari operators in the rest of the country, specifically the Lower Zambezi National Park and Livingstone but also other areas such as the Kafue and the North Luangwa National Parks. Our reservations team will book accommodation throughout Zambia as well as all the connecting flights and transfers. If you prefer to book your Zambian safari package yourself then we will gladly offer advice as to which areas and camps we feel work best together.

All guests with Norman Carr Safaris, however they are booked, are met upon arrival in Zambia at Lusaka International Airport and assisted with ongoing arrangements. Although travelling through Zambia is hardly a difficult task, we like to ensure that there is someone to take care of you, every step of the way.

We have outlined a number of Zambian safari packages in the pages that follow which we feel best represent the country and what is on offer.

Our Safari Packages

Best of Zambia Safari
In our opinion the ultimate 12 day safari tour through Zambia. Combining the two best National Parks in Zambia with the Victoria falls, this safari can be extended or reduced as you wish.

Zambia in a Week Safari
This Zambian safari package offers those without the luxury of a longer stay the chance to combine the splendour of the Victoria Falls with a few days' excellent gameviewing in the South Luangwa National Park.

A Zambian Honeymoon Safari
Not only for newlyweds, this 11 night honeymoon safari combines the very best that the top Zambian safari camps have to offer. The trip includes the Luangwa, Lower Zambezi and Livingstone.

Rivers & Rainbows Safari
This unique Emerald Season safari showcases the Luangwa in its wonderfully vibrant, greener months. It combines a few days at Kapani with a trip by boat up river to stay at Kakuli, where walking, driving and boating are available.

Emerald Season Birding Safari

Beach and Bush Safari
For those of you who like a bit of beach with your bush, Norman Carr Safaris has teamed up with Kaya Mawa on Likoma Island in the midst of the crystal clear Lake Malawi to bring you a combination of the bush with the best beach experience available. 5 nights in our camps in the Luangwa Valley topped off with a few days' relaxation at Kaya Mawa. A very popular, all-African experience.

6 Nights South Luangwa Safari
For those with less time, this safari package provides a brief view of the best that the Luangwa has to offer. Kapani Lodge is combined with Luwi, Nsolo and Mchenja bush camps.

7 Nights South Luangwa Safari
A combination of Kapani Lodge and our bush camps makes this a week to remember. The safari starts at Kapani followed by a walk from camp to camp along the Luwi River.

10 Nights South Luangwa Safari
With two nights in each of our five camps this is the ultimate South Luangwa safari package. This can be combined with a few days in another part of Zambia to create a longer Zambian safari package.

Luangwa Lion Cubs - Family Safaris
Seven night safari specially designed for families, with dedicated specialist private guide and vehicle. Based at Kapani Lodge and Norman Carr Safaris' remote and wild bushcamps in the South Luangwa National Park.

Return to the Wild - Camp-out Zambian Safari
Sleep out under the stars in the spectacular Luwi dry river bed with just a bed roll and a mosquito net. This overnight safari is led by top guide Abraham Banda and veteran scout John Saili for the most adventurous of spirit - a maximum of four guests for one night between two of our existing bushcamps.

North and South Luangwa - The Wildest Safari in Zambia
