Arrive Lusaka International Airport and connect onto your domestic flight to Mfuwe where you are met by your guide for the transfer to Kapani Lodge.

| Day 2 | |
![]() Mchenja Outside An early start gives you the full day to explore the game-rich area close to Kapani. The morning drive brings you back to camp for more food and a bit of down time before the evening safari during which you will have the opportunity to view some of the nocturnal inhabitants of the bush. |

| Day 3 & 4 | |
![]() Hippo Walk You will move from Kapani to the first of your remote bushcamp accommodations from where you will experience your first proper walking safari. Gameviewing activities from the bush camps are mostly on foot although gamedrives and nightdrives are always an option. |

| Day 5 & 6 | |
![]() Different Species On the second morning at the bushcamp your morning walk will end at your next camp, arriving in time for brunch and to find your bags already in your room. Two full days here exploring the South Luangwa and all it has to offer. |

Kaya Mawa Overview The drive from your bush camp to Mfuwe Airport takes you along the Luangwa river for the last time and gives you one last chance to marvel at the amount of game living in this National Park. Your flight From Mfuwe will take you, via Lilongwe to clear customs and onto Likoma Island in the midst of the crystal clear waters of Lake Malawi. Kaya Mawa is situated at the southern tip of the island on Nkwhazi Beach which forms a crescent shaped bay surrounded by mango trees and ancient baobabs. Kaya Mawa, meaning “maybe tomorrow” has 5 rooms dotted around a rocky knoll, two family house on the beach, two further double rooms at the end of the beach and a honeymoon suite on its own island. Each room has its own deck, views to die for and direct access to the lake. |

| Day 8 & 9 | |

Outdoor Dining Two full days to enjoy the splendour of this luxurious and peaceful beach resort. There are plenty of activities to be enjoyed both on and under the water. Lake Malawi is Africa’s 3rd largest lake and is home to a wide variety of aquatic life - the clear waters around Likoma island are excellent for diving and snorkeling. The Island itself has plenty of treats in store and you are free to explore on foot, by bicycle or on quad bikes. A visit to St Peter’s Cathedral is highly recommended. This remarkable building, built by missionaries at the turn of the 20th century measures over 100mts in length. |

The flight from from Likoma Island will take you to Lilongwe from where you will connect to your onward flight.
