![]() Kapani Lagoon On arrival at Lusaka Airport we can arrange a meet and greet service to assist with immigration and customs formalities and the transfer to the domestic departures lounge for your flight to Mfuwe. You will be met at Mfuwe Airport by your safari guide who will drive you to Kapani Lodge, usually arriving in time for brunch. You will have the rest of the day to relax, until gameviewing this evening which will be by vehicle leaving camp around 4pm. You will stop for sundowners in the Park and then continue with the second half of the drive, which is conducted after dark in search of nocturnal species. You will return to camp at around 7:30pm in time for dinner. |
| Day 2 (Luwi Bush Camp) | |
![]() Luwi Tea You wake early and meet around the camp-fire for a light breakfast whilst watching the sun rise over the lagoon. You will pack your bags and take them with you because this morning's gamedrive will deliver you to your next camp, Luwi. On arrival you will be served with brunch and briefed on the walking safaris that lie ahead of you. Later in the afternoon you will set out from camp on foot accompanied by your professional guide and an armed escort scout for your first true walking safari. |
| Day 3 (Luwi Bush Camp) | |
![]() Hippo Walk A full day exploring the area around Luwi. There is a permanent lagoon next to camp complete with a large number of hippo and crocodiles. This evening the walk will finish with sundowners overlooking this wonderful spectacle. |
| Day 4 (Nsolo Bush Camp) | |
![]() Nsolo Room This morning you will rise early and set off from the camp-fire on foot. Your morning walking safari will end at Nsolo bush camp where you will find your bags waiting and the camp staff ready to welcome you. After brunch you will have a few hours to rest before your afternoon walk. |
| Day 5 (Mchenja Camp) | |
![]() Mchenja Outside Tea and toast is served around the campfire at dawn. You head off again on foot and follow the course of the Luwi sand river as it makes its way towards the Luangwa River. Before the confluence you head East and find Mchenja Camp nestled under a magnificent ebony grove on the bank of the Luangwa. A cool drink will be waiting, brunch will be on the table and your bags will have been delivered to your tent. This afternoon you can drive or walk or try a mixture of both, the choice will be yours. |
| Day 6 (Mchenja Camp) | |
![]() Mchenja Pool A full day based at Mchenja Camp with options of walks or drives and plenty of chances to sit and watch the river flow past. Alternatively you may choose to take a picnic out in the vehicle with you and explore some new territory further up river. |

This morning you will have the opportunity to stay a little longer in bed. Breakfast at Mchenja will be followed by a gamedrive through the Park ending up at Mfuwe airport for your flight to Lusaka and onwards.
