Return to the Wild and Canada at last
Forgive us for the long space between news – not only has it been madly busy here in camps but also all the computers decided to go into meltdown at once. Technology in the bush can be a challenge but with a borrowed Leatherman and a few choice words we have managed to get up and running (well, limping).....bring back fountain pens and carrier pigeons.....

We have put our new camp pictures (taken by Patrick Bentley) on to the website at last. There have been a few glitches with this too but I hope you can access them in high and low res – let me know if you have any problems. There are some really nice photos of staff as well as shots of the camps.

The Luwi team
Our Return to the Wild sleep out safaris are proving very popular with the more adventurous of spirit. Click on to this link to "Safari Geek" and read Amanda's vivid account of her “sleep out” experience - in fact there are all sorts of other great stories on this blog so it’s well worth a read anyway. http://www.safarigeek.com/2010/06/out-and-about-in-zambia-sleeping-out-in-a-riverbed

And at last – Aubrey has made it to British Columbia and is - as I write, watching whales and has already been up close with grizzly bears. On his way to Canada he stopped off in London for 2 days. He phoned us from the reception of the Norfolk Hotel sipping coffee and waiting for his friends to take him to see the sights. THANK you to Ian, Christina and Anne-Marie as well as everyone at the fantastic Knight Inlet Lodge in BC - www.grizzlytours.com who so generously and kindly gave their time and efforts to give Aubrey the trip of a lifetime. He is keeping a journal – we can't wait to hear his stories and share them with you.
