In March 2007 I was the guest of Norman Carr Safaris (NCS) for the "Rivers & Rainbows" experience. I was so impressed with my visit that in June 2008 I brought my wife and 3 friends back for 10 days of "Walk on the Wild Side". The whole experience, beginning to end, without exception was nothing short of OUTSTANDING!
Starting with Kapani Lodge we spent 2 days in each of their 4 bushcamps and did a combination of drives and walks. Each bushcamp provided its own unique experience. The guides were top notch and the game viewing exceeded our already high expectations. We throughly enjoyed our luxurious bush accomodations as well as the delicious cuisine, expertly served to the background calls of lions and the other wild animals. The camp hostesses and staff saw to our every need.
We have traveled extensively and all agree that this was the best trip we had ever been on, thanks in large part to the expert care given us by Norman Carr Safaris. I highly recommend NCS to anyone desiring a truly authentic African Safari Experience. The South Luangwa National Park is one of the most pristine, and (still) wild, places left in Africa.It is not to be missed, and my wife and I are already planning our return. WELL DONE Norman Carr Safaris!!
