Thank you to all the staff at NCS who have succeeded in changing our lives!! Especially to Levi our guide whose patience and joy in sharing the secrets and wonders of the bush with us and generosity in inviting us to meet his family we will never forget.

The children especially left Zambia with their horizons broadened beyond our imagination. No more do they whine about having to go to school, as they learnt from meeting the Yosefe school children what a privilege it IS to go to school! They are so into wildlife programmes now and appear to have forgotten about their usual trashy TV! For them to know that there is a whole world out there of wonder and beauty is inspiring; but particularly moving has been their reaction to meeting children who are not so lucky as they are. They have both started fundraising at their schools and Holly even did a little presentation in class of her experiences with the wildlife and the people of the valley. We still say Zikomo instead of thank you and Tommo keeps asking if we can sit on the ground under a tree and eat with our hands, Zambian style!
